Every day, decisions are made at the national, state and local level that impact Texas manufacturers and their ability to remain competitive in the global economy. It is crucial that we remain informed about and involved in the public affairs process.
Especially in grassroots efforts that let legislators and regulators know how their decisions impact manufacturing and manufacturing jobs in Texas. TAM issue advocacy brings the perspective of manufacturers to the decision-makers who impact us most, and helps improve public opinion about the manufacturing industry in Texas.
Identifying, planning, and implementing a comprehensive grassroots campaign is one of our major initiatives. Though founded this year, we were able to organize an aggressive effort this past session, including radio, print and phone campaigns statewide, on behalf of all Texas manufacturers.
We need your help to build a JOBS TEAM of advocates willing to talk to public officials about the importance of Texas manufacturing and, when called upon, about the advantages and disadvantages of specific proposed legislation.
